Technology
Security is the architecture, not a feature
Every layer of the LegalBridge platform, from its cloud infrastructure to its digital identity system, is engineered to deliver verifiable identity, uncompromising privacy, and resilient security.
Platform security
Built the way sensitive systems should be
Encrypted end to end
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Identity data remains protected throughout its lifecycle, with identity codes containing no sensitive information.
Multi-factor authentication
Every account is protected by multi-factor authentication, including authenticator apps, and enforced strong password policies.
Audit by design
Accountability is built into the platform’s foundation. Every operation is captured in an immutable, blockchain-anchored audit trail, providing a complete record of who did what and when.
Cloud-native resilience
LegalBridge is built on resilient cloud infrastructure designed to scale automatically, and deliver consistent performance, high availability, and secure operations.
Least-privilege access
Role-based access control enforces precise permissions across the platform — facility personnel, attorneys, and administrators operate within clearly defined boundaries.
Secure session management
Session information is managed server-side, providing enhanced protection against security threats.
The audit layer
Audit Integrity
Every action in LegalBridge creates a record in the audit log. The integrity of those records does not depend solely on LegalBridge or Amazon AWS. Instead, multiple independent verification mechanisms make unauthorized alterations detectable, including alterations made by the systems that store or process the data.
Why this matters
If an event or its history is altered, the integrity check will fail and the affected record will be identified.
The result is an audit trail whose integrity can be independently verified through multiple layers of evidence, rather than relying on any single company, system, or infrastructure provider.
How it works
-
01
Recorded & Chained
Every audit event is recorded immediately when an action occurs and cryptographically linked to the record before it. This creates a continuous chain, making changes to existing records or omissions from the sequence detectable.
-
02
Sealed
Records are grouped together and digitally sealed. The seal is stored in protected, write-once storage. Once stored, the seal cannot be changed or deleted, including by LegalBridge.
-
03
Anchored Independently
The seal is timestamped on a public blockchain network. This creates an external, independently verifiable record showing that the audit data existed in the recorded form at a particular point in time.
The verification layer
Powered by InstaVerity
Identity verification on LegalBridge is powered by InstaVerity — proprietary identity verification technology purpose-built for high-integrity verification in sensitive environments.
InstaVerity generates short numeric identity codes that are secure, time-limited, and cryptographically verifiable. Each code is uniquely tied to an individual and refreshes automatically on a defined schedule, making it impossible to reuse or replicate. The code reveals nothing about the identity it represents — it simply appears as a number while carrying the full weight of a secure credential.
- Short, human-readable numeric codes that are easy to communicate verbally or visually
- Time-limited validity — each code expires within a short window to prevent reuse
- Reversible only by authorized systems, enabling verification without exposing underlying data
- Fully functional offline on the credential holder's device after issuance
